Static Hosting

Publish a static website from a ZIP

Keep pages, styles and images together. Upload a ZIP of your finished static site and create a temporary preview without connecting a Git repository.

Upload in your browser

From local files to a live preview

  1. Package the build output

Put index.html at the site root with assets and other pages. A single enclosing folder is normalized; do not include node_modules.

  2. Check the unpacked files

The 25 MiB limit applies to the whole unpacked site as well as the upload. A small ZIP can still exceed it.

  3. Test pages and assets

Open the hosted preview and follow relative links. Check nested pages and refresh them directly.

Static HTML, CSS and browser JavaScript. Up to 1,000 files and 25 MiB in total, including unpacked ZIP contents. New previews last 3 hours; the returned expiry time is authoritative.

For ongoing hosting, publish to an eligible NamesLink-managed domain with an available hosting resource. New external-domain bindings and root-domain publishing are not supported. Review the destination and any DNS changes before approval.

A small site you can inspect

Download this ZIP and upload it directly. It contains two pages, local styles and an image; no extraction is needed.
